IQOO Neo 9 Pro: Unboxing

- Documentations
- Case
- Type c
- Sim card tool
Okay, let’s get into unboxing the iQOO Neo 9 Pro! First up, we’ve got the documentation, then the case, which looks slick, with a relatively small hole for the camera module compared to other phones. Also, there’s a 120-watt adapter for superfast charging and a USB Type-C charging cable.
Okay, after that comes the SIM card tool, and now we have our iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which is fiery red in appearance. It looks premium. Talking about the backside, it’s made of vegan leather. Holding this phone in hand feels incredibly light. If your hand size is average, you’ll be able to hold this phone comfortably. Two camera modules are provided.

Overall, the phone has a premium look, the fiery red color is impressive, and the vegan leather on the back feels great. Anyone who sees the phone in your hand won’t be able to ignore it. And yes, friend, this is a better option for all those looking for a phone around $30,000. So, in my opinion, this is the best option. This phone has paid attention to many things, whether it’s performance, display, or battery; every spec has been well worked on. Now, let’s quickly move on to its display and design.
IQOO Neo 9 Pro: Design and display
Design

When discussing the design, the phone is fantastic. It’s robust with a premium appearance, and the back is vegan leather housing 2 camera sensor modules.

The white section of the vegan leather back features Neo branding at the top and ‘iQOO’ written at the bottom. The phone is indeed lightweight, weighing 191.8 grams, and it’s an ideal mid-range smartphone for both gaming and regular daily use. Now, buddy, let’s quickly dive into discussing ports and buttons.
Ports and buttons: At the bottom of the phone, there’s a SIM card tray. Next to it is a small hole for the microphone, while in the center is a USB Type-C port, and at the end is a speaker grill. Moving to the right-hand side, there’s a power on/off button, and above it, there’s a volume control button, a common feature in many other phones.

Surprisingly, there’s nothing on the left side, it’s empty. Well, it’s unusual for the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, but it’s not a big deal. On the top, there’s an IR blaster along with a noise-cancellation microphone. Dual nano sim card no SD card.
Display

In the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, you’ll see the same display as in the iQOO 12. The display in the iQOO Neo 9 Pro is flat, featuring a 6.78-inch 1.5k LTPO AMOLED display. The refresh rate is 144Hz, but this is only for gaming; generally, aside from gaming, you’ll see a refresh rate of only 120Hz.
Speaking of brightness, there’s a peak brightness of 3000 nits, which is quite high and better. You’ll also find 2160 Hz PWM dimming inside this smartphone. Additionally, there’s support for HDR10+. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the display comes with Schott Xensation Up protection.
Testing
Now we’re about to test the phone, which means we’re going to check its build quality. If the phone accidentally slips out of your hand and falls, it’s going to break; it’s common for phones to fall from your hand. So, we dropped it from a low height onto the table. You won’t be surprised at all that no issues were observed. Couldn’t even spot any issues; the phone is incredibly well-made.

There is Schott protection for the display, and the backside is made of vegan leather. The display also has scratch guard protection. So overall, even if the phone accidentally falls, there will be no issue. But that doesn’t mean you should start dropping it from the 4th floor; that would be disastrous. Oh my god, what am I talking about? Why would anyone drop their phone from the 4th floor? Just kidding, brother. Seriously, don’t try to drop it from the 4th floor; you’ll end up paying for it.
IQOO Neo 9 Pro: Camera

If we talk about the camera, the primary camera of this phone is the same as the Vivo X100, which has a dual camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP, which is Sony’s IMX920 sensor, and the second is an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, you get a 16MP sensor. Many features of Vivo X100 have been included in iQOO Neo 9 Pro.
Talking about video recording, you can record videos with 4K and 8K resolution from the back. It would be great if the front camera could record videos in 4K, but this feature is not available.

It also has many more camera features such as Portrait Mode, Supermoon Mode, Slow Motion Mode, Timelapse, Ultra HD Document, and Long Exposure. And talking about photos and videos at night, there is a night mode that provides good photos and videos. You can record videos at night at 4k with 30fps.
